Haides was the King of the Underworld, he was the god of death and the dead. He presided funeral rites and defended the right of the dead to the burial. Haides was also the god of wealth in hidden earth. Like fertile soil, mined gold, silver and other metals.
Haides was swallowed by Kronos as soon as he was born, along with four of his siblings. Zeus later caused the Titan to disgorge them. Together, Zeus, Haides, and his other siblings drove the Titan gods from heaven and threw them into the pit of Tartaros. Then after they received the power, Haides got the realm of the underworld.
Haides is the son of Kronos and Rhea, the sibling of Zeus, and Poseidon
